Back to sharing again

The last few months have been head-down. A new role, a few decisions that took longer to settle than I expected, and a couple of side projects that wanted my full attention rather than half of it. Posting felt like the wrong tax to pay on those.

There’s a particular kind of writing-while-confused that I don’t enjoy reading from other people, and I try not to inflict it. Better to wait until the shape of the thing is clear, even if it means going dark for a stretch.

A few of the things I want to write about this year: the way model behaviour is shifting how I plan engineering work, what I’m learning about being a calmer leader in a noisier industry, and a handful of small projects I’ve been chipping away at on weekends. Less hot-take, more notebook-from-the-edges. We’ll see whether that lands.
