I build platforms that have to be useful, auditable, and safe.
I'm an AI and engineering leader with over 20 years building large-scale technology platforms across financial services, SaaS, telecom, and consumer technology.
Today I lead engineering and AI modernisation across EMEA and APAC for a global enterprise payments business in London, overseeing more than 200 engineers. I designed and delivered a customer-facing, LLM-powered copilot for corporate treasurers - sitting on top of a platform that processes around $10 trillion in daily payment flows.
Before J.P. Morgan, I was Director of Engineering at BT Group, leading roughly 150 engineers across BT.com, EE.co.uk, and their mobile platforms. Before BT, I grew an engineering organisation at Zendesk from Singapore that eventually owned significant components of the global platform, including Polaris - the programme that unified Chat and Ticketing into a single agent workspace.
I live in Maidenhead with my wife and our daughter. The UK is home, not a stepping stone. Outside work I write, speak, and try to mentor engineering leaders who are figuring out what AI actually means for their teams.
